I discovered the Paris Review Interviews.

interviews with writers that provide a look into their minds and their creative work, it's incredible. margaret atwood wrote the introduction to vol.3 that i'm reading at the moment:

"Why am I doing such an ecentric thing as writing? is it just undigested neurosis? why spend all day in a room, in the company of a bunch of people who don't really exist? what good does it do the world? isn't it unhealthy? why waste the paper?"
